Fruit-forward flavours of cherry, plum and currant are accented by a dash of spice on this medium-bodied Merlot. The dry finish has lingering notes of black tea, black cherry and a touch of cocoa. Aged for 12 months in 60% American oak and 40% French oak barrels with full malolactic fermentation. Enjoy now through 2016.

Serve at a cool room temperature of 16 to 18ºC in large bowled wine glasses. Enjoy with wild fowl; grilled red meats; rich vegetable stews; 2 year old cheddar; Portobello mushroom burger; prime rib; and pan-roasted steak with caramelized onions.
