This is the most popular white wine at the winery! A small portion of the wine was aged in older French oak barrels for 5 months and then aged 'Sur Lie' for four months to enhance texture, mouth-feel and complexity. Very minimal skin contact created a gorgeous copper pink hue that everyone will love!
This medium-bodied wine has a slightly rich, round mouth-feel and flavours of honeydew melon, red apple, white peach, pear and a hint of spice. A refreshing note of lemon, lime, green apple and peach lingers on the finish. Best to enjoy while young and fresh.
Serve not overly chilled at 13 to 15ºC. Pairs with mini quiche with onion and bacon; smoked salmon dishes; perogies with fried bacon and sour cream; Tilapia baked with leeks and mushrooms; lightly spiced crab cakes; pan-fried fresh-water fish; and pan-fried scallops.
