A classic blend of Merlot (41%), Cabernet Franc (34%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (25%). Medium-bodied and very approachable with soft tannins. Fruit-forward flavours of strawberry, black currant and blueberry, accented by notes of spice and oak. Dark berries and spice linger on the finish. Drink young for full enjoyment.
Serve at a cool room temperature of 16 to 18°C with barbecued steaks; prime rib on focaccia; pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza; meatloaf; beef wraps; burgers; beef on a bun with gravy; and roasted red pepper and eggplant wrap.
